We are waiting for Xiaomi’s flagship of 2017 from few months back. We are getting many leaks regarding the phone almost daily. Now today at an event held at China, Xiaomi made there flagship phone official, Xiaomi Mi6. Finally the session of leaks of Mi6 will stop now. Strangely there’s no Plus variant of the Mi6. The specs are pretty much the same as what we got earlier, but let’s again recall the official specs of Mi6. Let’s get started..
This Mi6 has Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 octa core processor clocked at 2.45Ghz built on 10nm FinFET manufacturing process with Adreno 540 GPU. It has 5.15” Full HD 1080p display. It comes with 12MP wide angle + 12MP telephonic Dual Rear Camera Set-up with 4-Axis OIS, the secondary 12MP telephonic sensor performs same function as iPhone 7 Plus’s secondary camera, the portrait mode & 2x optical zoom. It has huge 6GB of RAM with two storage variants, 64GB & 128GB. It has glass front & back with 4 sided 3D curved glass. It packs a 3350mah battery with fast charging support, the battery life seems to be good enough due to the 10nm process of Snapdragon 835 processor and 1080p display. Now coming to the software, it runs on Android 7.1.1 nougat out of the box with latest Miui on top.
This Mi6 comes in three colours : Black, White and Blue. There’s another Ceramic variant of Mi6 that comes with ceramic back & 17k gold corner around the camera. The pricing of Mi6’s all variants is mentioned below:
• 6GB+64GB @ 2499 Yuan ($363, Rs.23451)
• 6GB+128GB @ 2899 Yuan ($421, Rs.27400)
• 6GB+128GB Ceramic Edition @ 2999 Yuan ($435, Rs.28138).
It will be available in China from 28th April. & As always Xiaomi didn’t revealed anything about the availability in other markets. Stay tuned with us for more information.
