With the second generation of Pixels, the search engine giant Google brings back the traditional ‘Search Bar’ into the Pixel Launcher. However, the position of the Search bar widget has been moved to the bottom. If you loved the new setup, and wants the new Pixel 2 style of search bar on your device, then update (or download) the latest version of Action Launcher.
With the latest version 29.0, the developer of the Action Launcher brings the new style of the second generation Pixel devices. You will get the new dock search bar, by heading to the settings menu of the Action Launcher. And you need to select ‘Quickbar’, then choose ‘Style’ now simply select ‘search bar’, to bring the Pixels style on your device.
And it allows you to choose the colour of the ‘Quickbar’ layout, and you can also select your desired corner size. Which means you can keep the rectangular search box if you’d like, or you can assign the corners round.
Now the Action Launcher needs the ‘at a glance’ widget, to get the feel of new version of Pixels on your device. And I hope the developer of the Action Launcher will make it happen in near future.
