As part of the expansion of Airtel Payments Bank, the company has rolled out the Payments Bank in Karnataka after the success in Rajasthan.
Airtel has announced the launch of its Payments Bank in the state of Karnataka, the company has launched the bank in Karnataka before the full scale Pan India launch. Customers will be able to access the service from 25000 Airtel retail outlets in the state of Karnataka.
The Airtel Payments Bank is just like a normal Bank, customers can open an account from Airtel retail outlets and it offers a range of basic banking service like cash deposit and withdrawal. And the Bank provides interest of 7.25% per year on savings account this is the highest interest offered by any bank in India.
Moreover, the banks have a wide network of merchant’s (sellers or shops) will accept digital payment from the Payments bank. This will give cashless facility to purchase goods and services to the customers.
