Amazon has unveiled its new Fire TV dongle with 4K HDR content and Alexa inbuilt. The company has also announced some echo devices.
The Updated Fire TV now supports 4k HDR content and on Board Alexa in it.The device can now stream 4K resolution content at 60 fps.This device looks similar to the Chromecast Ultra but it is a set-top box with a remote.
The device also supports Dolby Atmos audio so you will have both Visual and Audio treat with this device.The dongle fits into your TV HDMI port and then you can stream a lot. This is made easy with assistive voice search remote. You can also pair the device with the Echo and experience the complete Hands-free operation.
Prime Members will have access to all the prime content on the Fire TV. It also allows users to load apps like Hulu, PlayStation Vue etc. The Updated Fire TV dongle will be launched on October 25 at a price tag of $69.99. Preorders are started, to buy rush immediately to Amazon.
Amazon has also launched addition Alexa powered products like new Echo, Echo plus, Smart clock and landline support for Echo family. The Echo is redesigned and it is noticeable.
The Echo is redesigned with a removable cloth shell and reduced plastics. Amazon offers three in one pack with a price tag of $150 and it can also be bought as a single unit with a price tag of $99.
The Echo Plus model is the curvier version of Echo which can now directly link with Zigbee devices like Hue lights.It will be sold at $149.
The Echo Spot is a smaller Echo show with a display and camera and can do all with the help of Alexa like playing songs, showing security clips and even make voice calls with it. The Smart clock is sold at $130 and will go on sale from December.
Finally, the Echo connect is a solution for landline support for Echo family which lets user call others with the help of Alexa and the device will cost $35 and shipping will be started later this year.
