Yahoo the pioneer of the Internet, says it has been hacked and hackers has hacked at least of 500 million accounts. Yahoo says via email (I received mail), in 2014 the incident has happened.

In the email it further says, the accounts were hacked in 2014 by what it believed was a state sponsored actor. The data includes names, phone numbers, email addresses, date of births, hashed passwords and security questions and answers.
The company has said they are taking all steps to protect their users accounts. The company is asking to change passwords to the affected accounts, and adoptive means of account verifications. The company also says they unencrypted security questions, so hackers can’t access them.
