It is officially announced that Gemini for Home will be available on every speaker, smart display, camera, and doorbell. It will be available with the new Google Home app and the company has announced that the same will be available via an early access program that will be starting for the devices this month.
You need to sign up for the early access program, use the Google Home app (version 4.0+) and need to go to your profile icon, select Home settings, and then select Early access to enroll in the program.
Google will be notifying you when you can start and you will be getting advanced features, including Gemini Live, AI-powered Notifications, Home Brief, searching your video history, and creating automations with Ask Home. It will be available through the new Google Home Premium subscription and the plans start at $10 a month and are also included with Google AI Pro and Ultra subscriptions at no extra cost.
It is worth mentioning that the early access to Gemini Live is available to select, existing US Google Home Premium subscribers with compatible speakers and displays beginning 28th September. Google will be expanding the availability by next year.
