Google Pixel 2 devices are capable of recognizing whether the user is in Driving and it shifts into Do Not Disturb mode to stop distractions and prevent accidents.
The Do Not Disturb Driving Mode mutes all the Notifications during Driving and It also enables some voice interruptions for Calls and especially for Navigations.This automated Mode is a clever technology by Google which clearly prevents accidents by minimizing the distractions caused by smartphones nowadays.
The Mode automatically recognizes the user status. The advanced sensors detect whether the device is in Moving vehicle and shifts into the Mode. Each and every one of us get easily distracted by smartphones while driving. Google has also planned to open up the API to some third-party developers to completely build Safer experience while driving.
This mode will completely take advantages of its purpose. The Google Pixel 2 devices are the first in its kind to do this completely on its own and in near future, we may expect a lot of manufacturers to give this as a standard feature to bring Distraction Free Driving.
