Back in December last year, the South Korean electronics giant Samsung unveiled the Galaxy A71 smartphone and today the company brings the device into the market of India. Samsung launches the Indian of the Galaxy A71 with some India specific features. Specifications of Samsung Galaxy A71
It sports a 6.7 inch full HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-O Display with 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution, and has a 20:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by octa-core processor and the company launched only the 8GB RAM. In terms of storage, the smartphone supports 128 GB of internal storage and that can be expandable upto 512 GB via microSD card.
Moving to the photography department, the smartphone features quad cameras at back – 64-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture, followed by a 12-megapixel secondary sensor with an f/2.0 ultra-wide-angle lens, a 5-megapixel sensor with an f/2.4 macro lens and a 5-megapixel depth sensor with an f/2.2 lens. For selfies, the Galaxy A51 features a 32-megapixel sensor with an f/2.2 lens. The smartphone also supports an in-display fingerprint scanner for the additional layer of security.
Speaking about the connectivity options, the smartphone supports 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, and USB Type-C port. The device runs on Android 10 out-of-the-box with One UI 2.0, and the smartphone ships on a 4,500 mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging.
India specific features
Samsung has added some extra features such as visual cards and the same integrated within the text messaging app which is something like the form reminders and offers. The smartphone also features multilingual typing and this will allow users to chat in the local languages. The device also comes with a feature called Finder and it will allow users to search for content across entertainment, e-commerce, food, and travel domains available within “popular” apps that are installed on the smartphone. The smartphone also supports the Smart Crop feature and the same will allow users to save, share, or edit a screenshot with a single tap
Pricing and availability
The smartphone is priced at ₹29,999 and it will available via Samsung Opera House along with all the online retail stores and the official website of the company, it will go on sale from February 24.
