Back in last month, the Mountain View company Google announced new features to the Google Assistant at its annual developers conference. Well, today the company rolling out one of them to the company’s smart speaker called Google Home, and the new feature is called Continued Conversation.
With the new feature, you can talk with Google Assistant more naturally which means you can follow-up tasks to initial questions. With this, the virtual assistant will get the ability to talk continuously and you don’t need to say ‘Hey Google’ or ‘Ok Google’ command first. To use the Continued Conversation feature you need to enable it and here is how to.
How to enable the Continued Conversation?
You can enable the feature by heading to the Google Assistant app, then tap the Settings menu and then select Preference, and now you need to hit the toggle for the Continued Conversation option. Once you have done this, you need to start a new chat with the Assistant by saying ‘Hey Google’ or ‘Ok Google’ command and then you can follow-up the questions without saying the command first.
Speaking about the availability, this feature is currently available for the users of US English, and there is no word about the availability to more Google Assistant devices and speakers.
