iQOO 12 series unveiled
The iQOO 12 series features an AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, the vanilla variant sports a 6.74-inch flat screen whereas the Pro model features a 6.7-inch 2K display with curved edges. The display of both devices is integrated with an in-display fingerprint scanner. iQOO 12 series features a triple rear camera setup that includes a 50MP OIS-enabled 1/1.3 sensor of the primary lens along with a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 64MP telephoto periscope unit with 3x optical zoom, 100x digital zoom as well as OIS support. It also features a 16MP front-facing camera.
Under the hood, the iQOO 12 and iQOO 12 Pro smartphones are powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 mobile processor along with a dedicated e-sports Q1 chipset for an enhanced and immersive gaming experience. The company packs the devices with up to 16GB LPDDR5x RAM and 1TB UFS 4.0 storage. The iQOO 12 is backed by a 5,000mAh battery along with 120W wired charging and the Pro model houses a 5,100mAh battery with 120W wired and 50W wireless charging. HyperOS is the latest version of the custom skin of Xiaomi and the company is said to not release the update of HyperOS if your phone bootloader is unlocked. There is no information behind the decision of the company but it might be related to security and software integrity.
NASA Plus streaming service unveiled
NASA has officially launched its new streaming service called the NASA Plus and the same is available for free of cost to the users, the platform will not feature any advertisements as well. It has a huge amount of content including documentaries along with educational videos and live coverage of Nasa missions.
