1. Xiaomi Launched MIUI 9 Along With Mi5x:

This week was most trending for the launch of new version of Xiaomi’s own ROM over Android i.e. MIUI 9. MIUI 9 is based on Android nougat. It has some refined UI changes and some new features like split screen & image search. They also launched their new midrange smartphone Mi5x (mostly China exclusive) which is the 1st phone that comes out of the box with MIUI 9. It has some decent specs for the price like Dual Camera Setup and overall good package. Now coming back to MIUI 9, as of now it’s launched only in China for selected device. 2. Motorola Unveiled Moto Z2 Force:

After many leaks and rumours Motorola finally unveiled this Moto Z2 Force smartphone. It has all those specs which we got from various leaks. The shattershield display, the USP of this phone, is present with new aluminium built on the back and sides. It retails another USP of Moto Z line-up i.e. Moto Mods. Performance on this phone will not be an issue as it has Snapdragon 835 processor along with 4GB of RAM on Motorola’s near stock Android. It is also the 1st Motorola device that comes with Dual Camera Setup. The Dual Camera Setup on this phone can capture monochrome as well as depth of field photos. Two drawbacks of this phone are battery as well as lack of headphone jack. As of now this phone is available in USA only, will reach in other markets soon. They also unveiled the Moto 360 Mod. 3. Redmi Note 4 Explosion Case:

If we talk about trending news in India, this is the biggest trending news this week. A consumer’s Redmi Note 4 suddenly exploded & caught up with fire while inserting the SIM card in the shop itself. 1st we got an image of exploded Redmi Note 4 along with a video proof that it started exploding while inserting the SIM card. We also got images of retail invoice and FIR filed against Xiaomi. Hopefully no-one was injured during this incident. After 3 days of this news gone viral, Xiaomi spoke up and cleared many confusions and exposed something interesting in this case along with the consumer himself. 4. Nokia To Unveil A New Device:

This week Nokia has started sending out press invites for their new smartphone launch in London. And according to The Verge this new device is none other than the most awaited device, Nokia 8. The date of this launch event is 16th August in London. Although Nokia hasn’t started to tease or inform about this launch on their official website and social networking handles. The excitement level of this device is high as this is going to be the 1st Android flagship by Nokia. Also Samsung is going to announce their Galaxy Note 8 about a week later, and next iPhone will also launch mostly in September. 5. Lenovo To Unveil K8 Note Smartphone:

After remaining silent from past few months, Lenovo is here with another smartphone launch. This week Lenovo has started teasing their new smartphone launch in India through their social networking handles, which is going to happen on 9th August. The device which is going to unveil is Lenovo K8 Note, the successor of last year’s K6 Note. Well as always we don’t know the reason to skip ‘7’ number, maybe Lenovo don’t want the Galaxy Note 7 incident with their Note 7. As of now they didn’t unveiled anything about this device.
