Last week we also witness the official launching of the highly anticipated Google Pixel 7 series and its first Smartwatch dubbed the Google Pixel Watch among others. 5G rollout in India
The popular telecom operator Airtel introduced its 5G service in India called Airtel 5G Plus and the service will be available in the selected cities including Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Siliguri, Nagpur, and Varanasi. Airtel will be offering its 5G service on non standalone network and it is also confirmed that the users are not required to upgrade their existing SIM card. On the other hand, Jio will be offering its 5G service on standalone network and users are also not required to upgrade their SIM card. Jio is offering its 5G service in four cities – Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, and Varanasi. The company has claimed to roll out the 5G connectivity across the country by the end of next year.
Google Pixel 7 series & Pixel Watch unveiled
The search engine giant Google has unveiled its latest flagship smartphone series dubbed Google Pixel 7 series and Google Pixel watch. The smartphone series including the vanilla variant and the Pro variant, both devices are coming with an incredible camera setup and the power of the Google Tensor G2 mobile processor with machine learning capabilities. The Pro model of the smartphone series is also featuring a 48 megapixel telephoto sensor with awesome zooming capability. The devices are running on Android 13 out of the box and the it also coming with new camera features as well. Speaking about the watch, it is coming with a circular dial and offers advanced health related features including ECG support as well. The device is also supporting Google Assistant and voice calling support as well.
USB Type-C is now mandatory
The European Parliament is passed a new rule that makes USB Type-C mandatory for smartphones, cameras among others. The new rule is used to be implemented by 2024 which means we will get to all the devices with a common charging port. It is a win from the point of view of customers.
OnePlus Nord Watch is now official in India
The OnePlus Nord Watch is now officially available in the market of India and it is an affordable Smartwatch by the company. The device is featuring a 1.78 inch AMOLED display along with over 100 watch faces. It is also coming with popular health related features and offers up to 10 days of battery life.
Xiaomi 12T series unveiled
The Chinese electronics giant Xiaomi has also introduced its new flagship smartphones which includes the vanilla variant and the Pro variant. It is camera focused smartphone series and the vanilla variant offers a 108 megapixel primary sensor on the back panel while the Pro model is offering a 200 megapixel primary sensor on the back panel.
