Since the demonetisation there are lots of applications are coming with the UPI-based digital payment service, and now the world’s most favourite instant messaging application WhatsApp is planning to bring the UPI-based digital payment system for its users in India.
According to source, WhatsApp is planning to bring a UPI-based payment system in India which will powered by the Unified Payment Interface (UPI). And the system will come within 6 months, the company is currently said to be hiring a head of digital transactions specialising in UPI, Aadhaar and BHIM payment.
The instant messaging app would allow users to create or use the current Virtual Payment Address (VPA) to proceed with the transactions, and users would also be able to send or receive money directly to your near and dear once through the app.
