Foldable display is the new trend and future which we all know about. And even at this early stage if we talk about foldable smartphones, the first name which comes in out mind is Samsung. With the first ever commercially launched Galaxy Fold, Samsung introduced everyone to what future of smartphones will look like. Few months later this smartphone will be an year old announced.
That’s why Samsung is planning to launch another foldable smartphone in November itself, the Galaxy W20 5G. And right around the corner of the launch, this second foldable smartphone by Samsung is listed on Samsung Africa’s official website. This is supposed to be a foldable smartphone by Samsung to have clamshell fold design. Though no other information is mentioned on the website, but we can assume that it’s none other than Galaxy W20 5G. Because this smartphone is supposed to have clamshell display, which is similar to the recently unveiled Motorola RAZR 2019. While some are speculating that it’s Galaxy W20 5G, some thinks that this is third foldable smartphone and is going to launch around Galaxy S11 series.
So that’s all the information we have as of now. Well is this Galaxy W20 5G or not, only time will tell us. But seeing that Motorola unveiled RAZR 2019 with clamshell design loved by everyone, Samsung will also launch similar smartphone to compete against Motorola. And personally that’s a good thing because if Clamshell will become more popular, it will become common design in future and cheaper phones of this design will be available.
