We install many apps on our Android smartphones for different purposes, but some apps push too many notifications. In some situation it really annoys, and if you are looking for a solution to stop this annoying situation. Here we are, in this How-To article we will show you the perfect way to stop notifications from any app of your Android device. Read on.
In this article, we are showing the trick for the Android Lollipop and Android Marshmallow.
To stop notifications from Android Marshmallow:
- Go to Settings.
- Scroll down and find ‘Apps’.
- Now select the app which you want to stop getting notifications.
- In this screen find an option called ‘Notifications’, just tap on it.
- Now toggle the option ‘Block all’.
That’s it! You done it, now there will be no notifications from the particular which you stopped.
To stop notifications from Android Lollipop
- Go to Settings.
- Scroll down and find ‘Apps’.
- Now select the app which you want to stop getting notifications.
- Uncheck the ‘Show notifications’, and tap ‘OK’ on the warning box.
That’s it! You done it, now there will be no notifications from the particular which you stopped.
Note: The name ‘Apps’ may vary from different devices, I’ve a stock android device that’s why I mentioned ‘Apps’. On the Samsung devices it will named as ‘Applications’.
