Back in last month, the Chinese electronics brand Lenovo sub-brand Motorola unveiled the Moto Z4 smartphone and the company launched the smartphone with Android 9 which is the current latest version of Android. The smartphone will also receive the next and upcoming version for Android i.e. Android Q.
The smartphone also expected to receive Android R update, but the smartphone brand says there’s no plan to roll out the Android R in next year. Well, this is not fair thinking by the company because they must provide software updates at least for 3 years.
Having said that, the company promises to offer security updates to the Moto Z4 for two years. However, that will not be offered on a bi-monthly basis.
If you are unaware about the smartphone then read the complete specifications below.
The smartphone sports a 6.4-inch full-HD+ display with 2340 x 1080 pixels resolution along with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio, it also has a waterdrop notch. The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 processor and paired with 4GB RAM along with Adreno 608 GPU for the graphical task. In terms of storage, the smartphone supports 128GB of internal storage and that can be expandable upto 2TB via MicroSD card.
Moving to the photography department, the Moto Z4 doesn’t have a dual camera setup at the back, it features single rear camera setup, and that’s a 48-megapixel camera that has an f/1.7 aperture, a pixel size of 1.6-microns, and produces 12-megapixel images. It has PDAF and laser autofocus, apart from correlated temperature (CCT) dual-LED flash. On the front, the Moto Z4 has a 25-megapixel camera with an f/2.0 aperture and a 0.9-micron pixel size. It also supports an in-display fingerprint sensor. Along with a pogo pin connector as an interface for Moto Mods, which is the signature of Motorola Z series.
Talking about the connectivity, the smartphone supports 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, 3.5 mm headphone jack, GPS, Bluetooth v5.0, NFC, and USB Type-C. The company launched the device with single SIM support but we expect that it will support dual SIM cards in other markets such as India. The smartphone runs on Android 9 and packs on 3,600 mAh battery with the company’s 15W TurboPower fast charging tech.
