Meta is gearing up to launch its new smart glasses in multiple regions including in India. The device is developed in collaboration with Essilor Luxottica and the upcoming glasses are powered by Meta AI and it is worth mentioning that this particular device is already available in other parts of the world.
The company will be launching the device in India along with Mexico and the UAE as well. The Meta Ray-Ban smart glasses will enable users to ask questions, control music playback, capture photos and videos, and send messages. Everything can be done hands-free by simply saying “Hey Meta.” The glasses support audio and video calls via WhatsApp, Messenger, and Instagram. You can also send direct messages through Instagram.
It comes with a 12-megapixel camera and the same can be able to record 1080p videos. The device also features open-ear speakers and supports livestreaming via Facebook or Instagram. The device also supports live translation tool with the support for 32 languages, including English, French, Italian, and Spanish. It will be working offline if the necessary language packs are pre-downloaded.
