TechnoBugg’s Weekly Round-up

Welcome everyone to this week’s Weekly Round-up of TechnoBugg. In this series of Weekly Round-up, we will showcase Top 5 trending news of this week as well as 2 mentioned news which is very interesting but can’t make their way to the Top 5 list. This week is trending for Apple, Xiaomi, & more. So, let’s have a look at this week’s Top 5 trending news.

1. Apple Unveiled iOS 12:

This week Apple unveiled the new version of their smartphone OS, iOS 12. Just like every year, Apple has added some new features in this version of iOS. For example, they added Memoji and some new emojis for a fun time. They also said that the performance of iOS 12 running devices will also increase a lot. But I am a bit disappointed here, because Apple should have also talked about stability as well. If you recall the issues of iOS 11, you know that iOS 11 was one of the poorest version of iOS ever (it’s Galaxy Note 7 of Samsung). Hope that Apple has resolved all the bugs with iOS 12 and users will experience a bug-free update of iOS 12. For detailed coverage on this news Click Here.

2. Xiaomi Unveiled Redmi Y2 In India:

Xiaomi Launched Redmi Y2 In India With 16 MP AI Selfie camera And More

Seems like Xiaomi is going in the way of flooding the smartphone portfolio. As till now, their smartphones are fully slotted in the budget and mid-range segment. Now this week they added another smartphone in the Indian market, and that’s Redmi Y2. It is the successor of last year’s selfie centric Redmi Y1, and this one is also camera focused (at least on paper). It has Dual Rear Camera Setup and 16MP front camera, and Snapdragon 625 processor. So take this smartphone as a mixture of Redmi Note 5 (chipset) and Redmi Note 5 Pro (camera). But sadly in the battery department, this doesn’t retain the quality of both Note smartphones, as it retains a smaller 3080mAh battery. For detailed coverage on this news Click Here.

3. “Over Hyped” Lenovo Z5 Smartphone Unveiled:

Lenovo Z5 Unveiled With 6.2-inch And More

So Lenovo was silent in the first half of 2018, and according to the teasers of it’s Z5 smartphone, we all got excited due to the extreme bezel-less & notch-less display, and 4TB battery capacity. But as they unveiled the actual Z5, everyone got disappointed and Lenovo’s image was downgraded a lot in the community. The actual bezels are a lot thicker than what’s shown in the teasers, and it has that notch too. And regarding the mammoth 4TB storage, Lenovo actually unveiled an individual 4TB hard drive. With the launch of this device, Lenovo proved that they are Lenovo, who only knows to do business and make money, not doing innovation. For detailed coverage on this news Click Here.

4. Moto G6 & G6 Play Launched In India:

This week Motorola also launched their new Moto G smartphones in India, Moto G6, and G6 Play. Though everyone was expecting the higher-end Moto G6 Plus, Motorola settled for these devices only. But they should have at least priced both of them aggressive in this one of the biggest smartphone market. But seems like Motorola is getting habitual of Lenovo, and this going at giving overpriced products. As for what both these phones are offering, the pricing is really high. Motorola seriously needs to retain it’s Google time values and ethics and keep the Lenovo’s business mind aside. If they want to ‘Make Money’. Because now consumers are getting information about the smartphone, which makes the new smartphone brands like RealMe and Xiaomi popular, and brands like OnePlus manages to get compared with tier 1 brands. 5. Moto Z3 Play Unveiled With 18:9 Aspect Ratio:

So the 5th trending news is also a launch, and similar to other four launches, this one also disappointed me. But thankfully this one is least disappointed product launched this week. Though this Z3 Play sports some very good specifications. The phone is surely an overpriced product. Because adding few more buck, users can get the base variant of OnePlus 6. But one thing Motorola did good with this device, is that despite having the latest 18:9 aspect ratio display, the phone’s symmetry doesn’t change which keeps the older Moto Mods supported with the device. It’s really good as the Mods are very expensive. For detailed coverage on this news Click Here.
