LG at MWC 2019
The South Korean electronics giant LG unveiled a couple of devices at MWC event. First up, with the LG V50 ThinQ 5G. It sports a 6.4-inch OLED display with a notch and has 3120×1440 resolution. The device is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 855 processor and offers 5G connectivity. The device comes with a triple camera setup at the back and that’s in the combination of 12 MP primary lens, 12 MP telephoto, and 16 MP ultra wide sensor. For selfies, there’s an 8 MP module with a 5 MP wide-angle sensor.
Followed by The LG G8 ThinQ, the device sports a 6.1-inch OLED screen with 3120 x 1440 pixels, powered by Snapdragon 855. It comes with a triple camera setup in 12 MP + 12 MP telephoto + 16 MP ultra-wide.
Lastly, the LG G8s ThinQ, it offers a 6.2 Full HD+ OLED screen and powered by Snapdragon 855. Moving on to the camera department, the G8s ThinQ offers a triple camera setup and that’s in the combination of a 12 MP standard, 13 MP wide-angle, and a 12 MP telephoto lens. For the narcissists, there’s an 8 MP front camera.
Huawei at MWC 2019
The company unveiled Mate X with a flexible screen and sports an 8-inch flexible OLED screen on the outer side. When folded, a 6.6-inch screen on the front and 6.3-inch panel on the rear. It is powered by Huawei’s latest Kirin 980 chipset,-and the device rocks a Leica powered triple camera setup. It is also the world’s first foldable phone with 5G support.
Along with Mate X, Huawei showcased the MateBook X Pro. It is powered by Intel Core processors and offers two variants between the i7 8565U and Intel Core i5 8265U processor. The laptop sports a 13.9-inch IPS LCD touchscreen with 3000×2000 pixels.
HMD Global at MWC 2019
HMD Global, the official licensee of Nokia mobiles has unveiled a bunch of devices at MWC 2019. The company unveiled the Nokia 9 PureView, along with Nokia 4.2, Nokia 3.2, and Nokia 1 Plus. The Nokia 9 PureView is the world’s first smartphone to feature a Penta camera setup at the rear. And that’s in the combination of five 12 MP sensors.
Xiaomi at MWC 2019
The Chinese electronics giant unveiled its new device called Mi Mix 3 5G in Barcelona. The new Xiaomi’s smartphone is one of the world’s first commercially available 5G device, and the device is powered by the latest and greatest Snapdragon 855 chipset, along with Snapdragon X50 5G modem. The company has also announced the Global launch of the Mi 9 and the Mi LED Smart Bulb.
Sony at MWC 2019
The Japanese mobile brand Sony unveiled it’s Xperia 1, Xperia 10, Xperia 10 Plus, Xperia L3 to Barcelona. The Xperia 1 is Sony’s thrilling announcement and sports world’s first 4K OLED screen. It has a unique ultra-wide 6.5-inch panel with 21:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, the Xperia 1 features a Snapdragon 855 chip. It features a triple camera setup that promises to offer motion-picture quality video recording thanks to its CineAlta tech. That’s not all, the company also showcased its 5G prototype. Along with the smartphones, the company unveiled Sony SBH82D Wireless Open-Ear Headphone.
Nubia at MWC 2019
When other smartphone brands focused on the foldable smartphone, the Chinese smartphone brand Nubia goes one step ahead. Nubia has announced a smartwatch/phone called the Nubia Alpha. It has the cellular capabilities, offers a 5MP camera, comes running Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Wear 2100 chipset, and sports a flexible OLED display.
OnePlus at MWC 2019
The popular flagship makers showcased its 5G smartphone and have Qualcomm’s X50 modem. And as it is using X50 mode, this phone will come with Snapdragon 855 processor. OnePlus said that this smartphone will get launched in Europe in the second quarter of this year. They are partnering with Finnish cellular company ‘Elisa’ due to the fact that it is amongst the first company to bring 5G networks. Furthermore, the company also confirmed that its upcoming flagship smartphone called OnePlus 7 will not support the wireless charging.
HTC at MWC 2019
The company unveiled HTC Hub, and it is a really super product because it doubles as a 5G hotspot, it can able to stream content, and it also allows users to charge their devices.
ZTE at MWC 2019
The smartphone brand unveiled the Axon 10 Pro 5G which is a 5G phone with Snapdragon 855 and triple rear camera, along with the ZTE Blade V10 with 32MP front camera and waterdrop notch.
